Biography

Sany Abdul Baki is a Lebanese actor, acting instructor at MBC Academy & Open Screenplay, and auditions panelist at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (RCSSD) — University of London. For the past ten years, he has given university courses, workshops, and trainings in voice and acting, monologue technique, theatre history, and public speaking. He holds an MA in Acting from RCSSD and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the Lebanese American University.
In 2022–2023, he was commissioned by the KSA Ministry of Culture (Theatre & Performing Arts Commission) to deliver acting workshops in Riyadh and online. In 2023, he worked as an acting coach on Ya Ghayeb (still showing on Shahid).
In over fifteen years of acting, Sany has participated in stage productions that have toured internationally in France, Italy, the UK, USA, Tunisia, Syria, and Egypt. His most recent stage performance as Robert in Ray7in Jeyin (adapted from Marc Camoletti's Boeing Boeing) received much critical praise in Lebanon. Other stage credits include Agamemnon in The Trojan War, the Fool in Shakespeare's King Lear, and Giovanni in Dario Fo's Can't Pay! Won't Pay!
Screen credits include Al Qadar (MBC Group), Tnaash — the Lebanese adaptation of Twelve Angry Men directed by Boudy Sfeir — and Map of the Bomb, a neo-noir reality episodic fiction directed by Amanda Beech.
