Teaching, for me, is the practice of returning actors to their own instincts with enough craft to repeat them on demand. I work from a simple premise: the actor already has something true to offer, and training exists to make that truth reliable, audible, and repeatable under pressure.
Voice at the centre
Breath, resonance, and articulation are not add-ons — they are how an actor thinks out loud. Every session begins with the body and the voice awake.
Text before technique
Actors work from what the writing actually asks for. Technique arrives to serve the text, never to decorate it.
A room built on trust
Risk is only possible where it is safe to fail. The rehearsal room is structured so students can try the wrong thing loudly and learn from it.
Craft that travels
Stage, camera, and microphone each demand a different scale. Students leave able to adjust their instrument to the room they are in.
